Schpunk is the famous Alternative event that takes place at Pacific Edge Nightclub in Romford every Friday night. DJ’s Funkster, Andyboy, Le Big Muff, Wilko, Frazer, Morning John & regular guests spin a selection of Friday night Indie, Rock, Alternative, Hip Hop & Dance across two floors. The lighter stuff gets played downstairs & the louder & heavier tunes get played upstairs.

Schpunk began back in 2002 at Secrets Nightclub in Romford. Since it launched Schpunk has travelled to RM1 Nightclub, Tokyo Blue and there was even a one off Halloween event at Opium Lounge, before it settled at Pacific Edge in 2005. Since then it has been the busiest Alternative event in the area regularly reaching full capacity.

Schpunk is an Alternative event with a Friday night party atmosphere. It doesn’t take itself too seriously and certainly isn’t snobby. The music policy is Alternative, but it tries to cater for all audiences and there’s often a unique mixed bag of clientele dancing & drinking every Friday.
